None to speak of just love barbel fishing and my kids
Started Barbel fishing last summer introduced to it by my brother in law David (late starter at 53 what have i missed) during the floods on the Bristol Avon and caught my first barbel atKellaways on the Bristol Avon what a fish only 7lbs but fought like a a fish twice its size have met some interesting folk on the bank all keen barbel anglers .I live in Durrington near Salisbury in wiltshire and have to travel to get any decent fishing (for barbel that is.) have fished the Windrush &Teme but both were badly effected by the flooding and didn't have any luck at either river but i will return and try again i have also tried the Hampshire Avon at Throop but found it a very difficult river to fish as I am a novice and conditions were not the best the fish hard to locate and my technique a little wanting I think. I am well and truly hooked to Barbel fishing now and look forward to my first Double| Title | Type | Date |
